I am a retired money manager, who writes  the blog, Meditations on Money Management.  When I’m not critiquing Wall Street, I spend my time painting and drawing.  My art is derived from decades of doodling in my business notebooks.  I've included some of those drawing on this website.

My work always begins the same way.  I get an overwhelming urge to create a new piece without a firm idea about the subject or form.  I try to get into the same mindset I had during business meetings and conference calls.  I concentrate entirely on something other than my art, and the work begins to evolve.  A photograph or series of photographs from a trip or an object in my home often become the inspiration for a picture.

Selected works are available as giclées.    The giclées are produced by Wojtek Wojdynski, a fine art photographer specializing in archival digital printing services.   They are produced using Epsom Ultrachrome K3TM inks.  The inks have a lightfastness rating of 108-years when placed under glass or lamination.  The paper is Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Matt FineArt smooth 308 gsm, 100% Cotton which is archival quality and acid free.
